Jim Buck—Executive Director
Jim brings 25+ years of skills and experience from his position at a leading marketing, communications and training agency, LABOV. As a graduate of Taylor University with a degree in Pastoral Ministries, and seven years with Dare to Dream Youth Ranch as a volunteer, leader, feeder and Board member, Jim has applied his talents with the goal of building the ranch into a sustainable model of nonprofit success.
Diana Martin—Chief Financial Officer
Diana is Controller at a leading Fort-Wayne-based construction firm. As Board CFO, Diana contributes her formidable CPA credentials and experience to manage the finances of Dare to Dream Youth Ranch. Her thoroughness, attention to detail and wealth of knowledge make Diana a perfect fit for the Mission of the Ranch.
Lynn Nelson—Director of Community Service
With more than four years’ involvement with the Ranch as a volunteer and three years as a Board member, Lynn applies her background as a former mental health professional to create relationships with troubled youths. As a devoted volunteer and Board member, Lynn invests her time and effort to be the liaison to agencies such as the Allen County Sheriff’s Department, and her calm and approachable spirit make her perfect for the role.
Sarah Baum—Director of Communications
Sarah’s position as Director Marketing and Communications at a multinational firm makes Sarah well-suited for her role as Director of Communications for the Ranch. A volunteer at the Ranch for two years now, Sarah coordinates, packages and promotes the Ranch’s Mission, messaging and value to the community. Also, as a former member of the Purdue Equestrian Team, Sarah shares her equine skills and knowledge to work with the Ranch’s horses.
Michelle Buck—Director of Operations
Michelle is an Administrative Assistant to the President for a leading Fort-Wane-based construction firm. With over seven years as a Ranch volunteer, she fulfills her role as Director of Operations by overseeing and managing all aspects of Ranch programs, outreach, events, volunteer scheduling, veterinary and farrier care, barn and grounds upkeep and more.
